Exploring the questions of freedom, of human identity and human roots, through silver emulsion photography, cyanotype, engraving, and calligraphy.
I am attracted by the questions of identity and cultural 'interconnectedness'. I was born in Hong Kong, studied in Australia and lived in the United States of America, before settling in Europe, in France and now in Belgium.
My work is influenced by my personal experience and my life across several continents. I explore the questions of freedom, of human identity and human roots, the differences between peoples and the influence of our origins on the way we look at other people and at ourselves.
